Introduction

The following points should be paid attention to in the design of extruder head:

1. The inner cavity of the machine head shall be streamlined. In order to make the materials extrude evenly along the flow channel of the machine head and avoid overheating and decomposition of the materials due to stagnation, there must be no sharp shrinkage in the machine head, let alone dead corners and stagnation areas. The flow channel shall be smooth as far as possible. It is recommended that the surface roughness Ra value be 0.4 μm.

2. For sufficient compression ratio, the machine head that can produce sufficient compression ratio shall be designed according to different plastic products and plastic varieties, so as to eliminate the joint joint caused by shunt support and make the products dense.

3. Correct section shape due to the plastic performance, pressure, density, shrinkage and other factors, the molding section shape of the die of the machine head is different from the real section shape of the product. This factor should be considered in the design to make the die of the machine head have a reasonable section shape.

4. The rhythm is compact and easy to disassemble. Under the condition of meeting the mechanical properties, the machine head with rhythm entry, tight connection, uniform heat transfer, convenient disassembly and no material leakage shall be designed.

5. The material selection is reasonable. The machine head should be made of steel with corrosion resistance, friction resistance, good tensile strength and high hardness. Some have to be chrome plated according to the situation.
